Message I was 15 and the first car I ever went to test drive was a 1969 Super Sport Chevelle with the L78 engine and M22 tranny... 396 cubic inches of V8 and 375 horses on tap backed by a 4 speed and 4.11 rear gears. It was beautiful. I'm glad my parents refused though.
About 6 months later I ended up getting my '68 Camaro with the base model V8 and automatic trans. I managed to not get any tickets. I am much more responsible now though... especially with the Camaro since I've put so much time and effort into it!
